Perhaps it's nostalgia, but I can't help feeling Vampire is best enjoyed in the context of the early 90's when it first came out and the tech level, in particular, of then. It seems counter productive owning both, though I am tempted to buy V20. V5 has a terrible scattershot approach vomited pointlessly across several books and that is a real issue for me as a game consumer. V20 has pretty much everything in it: all the clans/bloodlines of old. I can't speak to how well it plays.Īnd then there's V20, by which I mean classic vampire. You don't need to worry about having extra points leveling up your character in the creation screen using the glitch in the creation screen, once you have all of your attributes and disciplines maxed out, if you have extra points left to spend, simply hit the auto distribute button, and it spends the points, regardless of everything being maxed out already.Didn't want to post this in the Imbued discussion but the convo about V5 made me think about my relationship with Vampire the Masquerade which, as a WoD, I'd like to get back into playing.somehow.(curse you plague!) On top of that you can add the ones that they give you for picking that base. When you goīack to the stat distribution page your character Make sure that you dont click onĪnother base (it resets the character's stats). Once you select your vampire type (base) there are set

At The Asylumin Santa Monica, you can dance with the other vampires and ghouls.
